Nick DeCesare is a pianist and composer from New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was initially self-taught before undertaking private studies and then attending the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated with his Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance in May of 2015. Throughout his undergraduate career he was heavily involved in the Pittsburgh jazz scene. In June 2016, Nick released his debut solo piano album, 'Openings' which consists of 13 original compositions. At the same time, he moved to Chicago where he currently resides and continues to compose, teach, and perform throughout the city.
